I lead the Food and Drink side of our business. I’ve visited hundreds of food factories, although I’m still trying to master how to make a hair net/beard net combo look good! I love the pace of food and drink and seeing new brands/products come to market in the supermarkets.
A big sports fan – play for a very average 6 a side football team and watch the mighty Liverpool try to win a trophy. Play a bit of golf but more ‘In the Woods’ than ‘Tiger Woods’.
We set up Radar to genuinely deliver a high quality service to the market. We aren’t aiming to the biggest, but want to grow a specialist team that delivers consistently to our candidates and customers. I am aiming to grow our food/drink practice to be the go to recruiters across the South East with a reputation for building relationships, delivery and service.
I oversee the FMCG, Life Science and Industrial side of Radar. I take a lot of pride in working with a varied range of businesses – from a multinational medical device business that creates life changing products to an SME business in the countryside producing industrial components that ensures aircrafts are fit for purpose. It still amazes me to this day the importance and impact our respective sectors play within the UK economy.
Family always come first for me and I take a lot of pride in spending quality time with my loved ones. I love all things football related and I am a very big Chelsea FC fan – and yes, I have followed the blues before Abramovich came in! Not too bad of a player myself, I’d call myself the ‘recruitment industry’s Virgil Van Dijk’. Travelling the world and going on the odd holiday (with a cocktail in hand) is also one of my favourite pastimes.
I spend a lot of time building relationships and working with our client and candidate base. I enjoy, and actually place a great deal of value, in visiting clients in their respective sites – it is always very interesting to get under the skin of businesses and understand the challenges they face in regards to their people, in order to ensure we are adding value to their recruitment processes.
